Metal Fabrication Production Worker

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Metal Fabrication Production Workers for a sign manufacturing company in Fargo, ND. In this role, you'll either manufacture traffic control and specialty signs using metal fabrication equipment or handle kitting and inventory control by pulling and prepping orders for production. If you enjoy hands-on work and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.

Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic metal fabrication equipment

Execute and document production through MRP system

Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment

Inspect quality of work and complete associated documentation

Shear and punch aluminum materials

Maintain a neat and orderly Sign Shop and lot

Pull all parts of an order together using work orders and stage for manufacturing

Maintain accurate inventory records of sheeting and materials

Assist with logistics and incoming product handling

Participate in weekly shop meetings and other tasks as assigned

Knowledge of metal fabrication processes

Ability to operate manual, semi-automated, or CNC equipment

Strong organizational skills to maintain manufacturing orders and meet deadlines

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
